Wilma Landrum Shryock, 85, of Lawrenceburg, wife of the late Dudley Jerome Shryock, passed away Saturday, February 27, 2016 at the home of her daughter. Born August 23, 1930 in Happy, KY, Wilma was the daughter of the late Sherman and Laura Spurlock Landrum.
Wilma was a retired secretary for the Kentucky Teachers Retirement System and owner of the former Shryock Shoe Store in downtown Lawrenceburg. She is a member of Hope Community Church and the Order of the Eastern Star Hamilton Chapter #293.
Wilma is survived by two children, W. Dudley Shryock and his wife Pattie and Janet Heustis and her husband Paul, all of Lawrenceburg; seven grandchildren, Jessica (J.R.) Mitchum, Jason Jeffries, Lauren Heustis, Brittany (Jay) Gravatte, Amanda (Mike) Wells, Greg Brewer, and Scottie (Tina) Brewer; five great grandchildren; and a sister, Mildred Sizemore of Lily, KY. Along with her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Bob Landrum and J.B. Landrum.
Funeral services will be 11 AM Tuesday, March 1st at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home with Dr. Jeff Eaton officiating. Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 – 8 PM Monday.
Serving as pallbearers will be Jason Jeffries, Jay Gravatte, J.R. Mitchum, Mike Wells, Kerry Hawkins, Scottie Brewer, Bobby Shryock, and Mike Shryock.
