Willie Puckett Live Service Broadcast

William Edgar "Willie" Puckett, 69, passed away May 5, 2021 at his home in Lawrenceburg.  Born March 14, 1952 in Anderson County, he was the son of the late Earl J. and Mary Louise Kays Puckett.

Along with his parents, Willie was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Ann Puckett and Lana Kay Puckett.

A former corrections officer for the KY Dept. of Corrections and the Fayette County Detention Center, Willie previously worked 30 plus years at the Lawrenceburg A&P and IGA.  He was a lifetime member and treasurer of Shiloh Christian Church. His enjoyments included sports card collecting and bowling for over 35 years.  Willie donated 162 pints of blood during his lifetime.

Survivors include his son, William E. "Will" Puckett and his wife Jen of Nashville; three grandchildren, Lakin T. Puckett, Hannah C. Puckett, and Marissa Greenwell; three brothers, Earl J. (wife Charlotte) Puckett, Jr. of Lawrenceburg, Ricky D. (Jeanne) Puckett of South Carolina, and James B. (Cyrena) Puckett of Charlestown, IN; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held 3 – 7 PM Sunday and 11 – 1 Monday followed by the funeral service at 1:00 Monday, May 10 ^th at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home.  Bro. Scott Osborne and Bro. Robbie Harmon will officiate the service.  Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery.
