William Thomas Cannon, known to all as Tom, 31, of Lexington, Kentucky passed away peacefully in his home on the evening of August 7 ^th . Tom was born and raised in Bowling Green, Kentucky and was a graduate of Greenwood High School and Western Kentucky University. He was also a beloved teacher at Winburn Middle School and a dear friend to many.

He is survived and missed dearly by his wife, Laura Eaton Cannon of Lexington, his parents, Alan and Jane Cannon of Bowling Green, his brother Chris and Liz Cannon of Bowling Green, his nephew Parker Cannon, his mother and father-in-law Jeff and Julie Eaton of Lawrenceburg, his brother-in-law Andrew Eaton, and Laura's grandparents Ted and Mary Alice Winn.

Tom was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Mulford and Evelyn Lockwood and his paternal grandparents, William J. Cannon and Margie Upton Lyle.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 9 ^th from 4 – 8 PM (Eastern) at Hope Community Church, 5930 US Hwy. 127 South, Frankfort, KY 40601. A Celebration of Tom's Life will be held on Thursday, August 10 ^th beginning at 11:00 AM (Eastern) also at Hope Community Church.

A private family burial will follow at the Fairview Cemetery in Bowling Green, KY. Following the burial, family and friends are invited to a refreshments and fellowship from 4:30 – 7:00 PM CDT at the State Street United Methodist Church, 1101 State St., Bowling Green, KY.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in memory of Tom are suggested to Sparrow Missions, P.O. Box 4329, Frankfort, KY 40604-4329 or Bluegrass Hospice Care, 663 Teton Trail, Frankfort, KY 40601.
