William Clyde Leaver, 71, of Arizona City, AZ, formerly of Georgetown, Carlisle and Lawrenceburg, KY, husband of the late Patricia Ann Prisk Leaver, passed away Saturday, January 9, 2016 in Arizona.

Born May 29, 1944 in Monongahela, PA, Bill is the step-son of Amy Loretta McCann Leaver of AZ and son of the late LeBaron Wilmont Leaver. Along with his father, he was preceded in death by an infant daughter Joy Leaver.

For 30 plus years, Bill worked for I.B.M. in Lexington retiring as an I.T. Support Specialist. He served as a SP5 in the U.S. Army from 1963-66. His many enjoyments included fishing, working on computers, and exploring with his metal detector.

Including his step-mother, Bill is survived by five children, William Troy Leaver and wife Amy of Springhill, TN, David Nathan Leaver of Boyne City, MI, Elizabeth Ann Morris and husband Gabriel of Boone, NC, Tamara Lynn Brown and husband Charles of Versailles, and Patricia Christine Leaver and husband Randy Philpot of Versailles; 18 grandchildren; and three brothers, Barry (Debbie) Leaver of CO, Dave (Kaye) Leaver of OH, and Kent (Brenda) Leaver of AZ.

Funeral services will be 12 (noon) Friday, January 15th at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home in Lawrenceburg, KY. Burial will follow in Camp Nelson National Cemetery with military honors. Visitation will be 11 am until the time of service at 12 (noon) Friday.
