William Thomas Fint, age 72, husband of 54 years of Bessie Flora Fint, of Garfield, KY formerly of Lawrenceburg, passed away Thursday, August 27, 2015 at the Hosparus Inpatient Care Center in Louisville.

Born January 5, 1943 in Woodford County, KY, he is the son of Mary Elizabeth Disponette Fint of Lawrenceburg and the late Thomas Mike Fint. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Elizabeth Diane Fint.

He was a former employee of Vincent Fister Moving & Storage in Lexington and a tile setter, working with his father and brother. A member of the Freedom Baptist Church, he also enjoyed fishing and working with the Lawrenceburg Burgoo Festival.

Along with his wife and mother, he is survived by three sons, William Thomas "Billy" Fint, Jr. (Amy) of Lawrenceburg, Wayne Allen Fint (Debbie) of Custer, KY, and Jeffery Dale Fint of Lexington; 10 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; a sister, Bessie Ward of Lawrenceburg; and two brothers, Harry Fint and Donnie Fint (Edith), both of Lawrenceburg.

A time of visitation will be will be held from 10 am – 9 pm Sunday, August 30th with a service at 2:00 pm Sunday at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home. Bro. Robert Logue will officiate the service. Cremation will follow the visitation and services with burial of cremains in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery.
