Rev. William Morgan "Bill" Bucher, 73, husband of Stephanie Johnston Bucher, passed away November 25, 2021 at his home in Lawrenceburg.  Born on August 24, 1948 in Dover, Ohio, he was the son of the late William Bucher and Jennet Morgan Bucher.

A retired Lutheran Pastor, Rev. Bucher had received a Master in Fine Arts and a Master of Divinity.  He was currently a member of the Hope Lutheran Church in Frankfort and a Kentucky Colonel.  He served his country as a Specialist 4 ^th Class in the U.S. Army Security Agency in Thailand and Vietnam during the Vietnam War.

Including his wife Stephanie of 53 years, he is survived by two sons, William Morgan Bucher, II of Windermere, FL and Matthew Harold Bucher, MD and his wife Amy of Lawrenceburg; five grandchildren, Morgan Elizabeth Bucher, William Mason Bucher, Bailey Sophia Bucher, Jacob Matthew Bucher, and Emma Jane Bucher; a sister, Rebecca (Rick) Taggart of Ohio; a brother, Sherman (Sheryl) Bucher of Florida; a brother-in-law, Gregory (Carla) Johnston of Ohio; five nieces and five nephews.

A time of visitation will be held on Thursday, December 30th beginning at 1:00 PM followed by a memorial service at 2:00 PM at the Hope Lutheran Church, 1251 Louisville Rd., Frankfort, KY.  Rev. Jerri Carlin will officiate the service.
