Wendy Leigh Richardson Edgington, age 49, wife of Billy Edgington, passed away Wednesday, December 18, 2024 in Lexington.  Wendy was born April 4, 1975 in Versailles, KY to Randy and Karen Richardson of Lawrenceburg.

Wendy loved to cook and was trying her hand at gardening.  She was a homemaker and a former Surgical Technician with the VA Hospital in Lexington. She enjoyed spending time outdoors in the sun, swimming in her pool and raising her chickens. Wendy loved animals of all kinds, but especially loved her dogs, Bailey and Gracie, which were her constant companions. Her greatest love was the love she had for her family, they meant everything to her.

Including her husband, Billy and her parents, Randy & Karen, Wendy is survived by her daughter, Brooke Sizemore (Andrew) and her son, Devon Sizemore, all of Lawrenceburg; her stepchildren, Jasmine Edgington, of Harrodsburg and Trent Edgington, of Danville; her grandchildren, Melony, Coulson & Grayson; her sister, Shelly Johnson (Joseph) of Lawrenceburg; and her niece, Becca Warfield of Lawrenceburg.

Memorial service will be 5:00 P.M., Sunday, December 22, 2024 at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home with Bro. David Smith officiating.  A time of visitation will be from 2:00 P.M. till time of service at 5:00 P.M.
