Funeral Service Broadcast for Wayne Todd

Victor Wayne Todd, 78, husband of 58 years to Linda Mae Stratton Todd, passed away Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at FRMC in Frankfort, KY. Wayne was born in Pulaski County, KY, on September 4, 1946, to the late James Lee Todd and Birdie Mae Reynolds Todd.

Along with his parents, Wayne was preceded in death by two brothers, Gerald Todd and Harold Todd; and his sister, Janice Todd.

Wayne was a member of the Church of Christ who most recently attended Ballard Baptist Church in Lawrenceburg. He dedicated his life to hard work and service, retiring as a corrections officer with the Kentucky Department of Corrections. A lifelong farmer, he took great pride in his land and livestock, enjoying his time as a member of the Anderson County Cattlemen's Association. Wayne found joy in farming, tending to his cattle, visiting the stockyards, and spending time fishing. He especially cherished working alongside his grandson. A proud, old-school Democrat, Wayne valued tradition, community, and family above all else.

Wayne is survived by his wife, Linda Mae Stratton Todd of Lawrenceburg, KY; his son, Anthony Wayne Todd (wife Julia) of Lawrenceburg, KY; his daughter, Cheri Todd Montgomery (husband David) of Lawrenceburg; brother, Donnie Todd (Wife Deborah) of Somerset, KY; sister, Wanda Cloran (husband Ricky) of Lawrenceburg, KY; grandson, David Wayne Montgomery II (wife Kerri) of Lawrenceburg, KY; and great grandchildren, Lilli, Sailor, and Banner Montgomery.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 28, 2025, from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home, immediately followed by his funeral service at 1:00 PM. Bro. Jerry Dedman and Bro. Joey Hightower will officiate the service. Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Johnny Stratton, Glenn Hawkins, Ricky Cloran, David Todd, David Montgomery, Dylan Hawkins, David Wayne Montgomery II, and Stewart Gritton. Honorary bearers will be Truman Montgomery, Mason Todd, and Jaxson Todd.
