Wanda Joy Sparks Breeding, 88, wife of the late Ralph Lenvil Breeding, passed away August 13, 2020 at Bluegrass Community Hospital in Versailles, KY.  Born May 29, 1932 in Adair County, KY, Wanda was the daughter of the late Tanner Otley Sparks and Catherine Darnell Sparks.

Along with her husband and parents, Wanda was preceded in death by her son Greg Breeding, and her brothers, Neal R. Sparks, Bunnie Edward Sparks, and Phillip L. Sparks.

A former custodian at the Anderson County High School, Wanda was a member of the Lawrenceburg First Baptist Church.  One of her greatest enjoyments was listening to her late son Greg play Bluegrass Music.  She also enjoyed reading and watching basketball, especially teams coached by her late husband Ralph and University of Kentucky Basketball team.

Wanda is survived by her daughter-in-law, Vanessa H. Breeding of Lawrenceburg; her grandson, John Hardy Breeding of Lawrenceburg; two sisters, Linda (husband Roy) Stephens of Hodgenville and Kathy Coleman of Louisville; two brothers, Billy C. Sparks of Lawrenceburg and K. Dale Sparks of Louisville.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 17, 2020 from 11 - 1 PM followed by the service beginning at 1:00 PM Monday at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home.  Dr. Robert F. Ehr will officiate the service.  A private burial will be Tuesday at Camp Nelson National Cemetery.
