Virma Jean Toler Hobbs, 71, of Lawrenceburg, passed away Monday, December 28, 2015 at Baptist Health Lexington. Born December 25, 1944 in Lee County, KY, she was the daughter of the late Evert and Lean Cole Toler. Along with her parents, she was predeceased by three sisters, Marie Newsome, Barbara Joan Toler, and Betty Tussey.

She was a retired employee of Texas Instruments in Versailles, a member of the Open Bible Church in Lawrenceburg, and a volunteer for the Open Hands Food Pantry in Lawrenceburg.

Virma is survived by a son Christopher Kevin Hobbs and his wife Jamie of Lawrenceburg; two grandchildren, Logan Bailey Hobbs and Caitlin Marie Hobbs, both of Lawrenceburg; three sisters, Alice Chrisman of Lawrenceburg, Earnestine (Ron) Poor of Oak Ridge, TN, Johnnie (Donnie) Campbell of Winchester; and two brothers-in-law, Charles Newsome and Edgar Tussey.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Thursday, Dec. 31st at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home with Pastor Jeff Tyler officiating. Burial will follow in the Sand Spring Cemetery. Visitation will be 11 AM until the time of serve at 1 PM (11- 1) Thursday.
