Virginia Mae Sutton Wagoner, 89, wife of the late Fredy Marshall Wagoner, passed away November 20, 2023 at Clinton Place, Clinton, KY.

Born March 20, 1934 in Lawrenceburg, KY, Virginia was the daughter of Ivan Dudley Sutton and Martha Lee Stratton Sutton.  She worked as an LPN in area nursing homes.

She is survived by a daughter, Maria Smith and her husband Dennis of Louisville; two grandchildren, Amber Nicole Smith and Dennis Joe Smith, Jr; three great grandchildren, Brynlee Smith, Jaxten Jo Smith, and Grayson Levi Smith; sisters, Doris Shephard, Betty Jean Peak, and Jo Ann Elmore-Harrison; and several nieces and nephews.  Including her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sons, Sylvia "Wayne" Cecil and David Neal Cecil.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at the Lawrenceburg Cemetery pavilion.
