Virgie Margaret Faulkner Long, 78, passed away July 5, 2022 at Heritage Hall in Lawrenceburg.  Born in Wolfe County, KY on September 10, 1943, Virgie was the daughter of the late Carl Faulkner and Daisy Dunn Faulkner.

A retired supervisor for the KY Dept. of Transportation, Virgie was a member of the Mt. Freedom Baptist Church in Washington County, KY.  She enjoyed playing and coaching softball and loved horses and watching U.K. sports.

She is survived by her children, James T. "Jim Bo" Nall (wife Michelle) and Rainie Nall Boggs (husband Brian), two grandchildren, Emileigh "Emmie" Settles Brown (husband Spencer) and Brandon Boggs (Karley), two great grandchildren Trent Miles and Addison Miles, and a sister Betty Broadstad.  Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, James Derrick Nall, and her brothers, J.T. Faulkner, Fred Faulkner, Raleigh Faulkner, and Junior Proffitt.

A service will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, July 8, 2022 at the Lawrenceburg Cemetery pavilion.   Arrangements have been entrusted to the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home.
