Vicki Warner Funeral Service Broadcast

Vicki Darlene Shewmaker Warner, 71, passed away, Wednesday, October 4, 2023 in Frankfort, Kentucky. Vicki was born February 29, 1952 in Mercer County, Kentucky to the late Curtis Patterson and Elizabeth J. Shewmaker.

Vicki was raised in Mercer County along with her siblings, until she moved to Anderson with her daughters in 1985. She retired from Florida Tile after working there for 42 years. Vicki was very family oriented and went out of her way to help everyone she met. She loved fishing, going to concerts, sports cars, and her many pets. She also attended Hope Community Church for many years.

Vicki is survived by her two daughters, Eugenia Warner of Mercer County, and Sandy Warner of Lawrenceburg, KY; a step-son, Matthew Warner of Fayette County; four grandchildren, Starla Vaughn of Mercer County, Timmy Warner (Anna) of Springfield, KY, Aimee Morgan of Woodford County, and Alexis Dean of Mercer County; eight great grandchildren, Jaxon, Jace, James, Iris, Jayson, Chamberlina, Giana, and Trinidy; three siblings, Wayne Shewmaker (Joyce) of Mercer County, Tish Blacketer of Mercer County, and Allen Lewis (Kathy) of Woodford County.

Including her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Eugene Shewmaker; a brother-in-law Terry Blacketer; and the father of her children, Freddie Warner.

A visitation will be held from 5-7 pm Monday, Oct. 9, 2023 at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home, and after 10 am, Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2023. Funeral service will be Tuesday at 1:00 pm at the funeral home with Dr. Jeff Eaton officiating. Burial will follow in Springhill Cemetery, in Mercer County.

Pallbearers are Timmy Warner, Matthew Warner, Tyrone Dean, Jamie Rowland, Dan Stacy, and Willie Warner. Honorary pallbearers are Wayne Shewmaker, Allen Lewis, Starla Vaughn, Jace and Jayson.
