Vernon Arnold Scott, 78, of Lawrenceburg, husband of Eileen Day Scott, passed away on September 10, 2017. Born July 19, 1939 in Augusta, Maine, he was the son of the late Arnold William and Eva Souve Scott.

Vernon attended the Ninevah Christian Church. He served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps.  He enjoyed working as an Electrician and Plumber. Along with his wife, he is survived by his children, Thomas (Carol) Scott of Florida and Susan Elizabeth (Bobby) Bates of Lawrenceburg; three grandchildren Victoria, Andrew and Sam. Including his parents, Vernon was preceded in death by his brother, David Mark Scott.

Cremation was chosen a memorial service will be held in Maine at a later date.
