Verdie Ann Riley Estes, 51, of Salvisa passed away Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at U.K. Medical Center in Lexington. She was born January 28, 1963 in Versailles daughter of Cora Swisher Riley of Lawrenceburg and the late Otis Allen Riley.

Ann was a 1982 graduate of Western High School. She worked as a bus driver for 17 years for the Anderson County Board of Education. Ann was devoted to helping other and loved her family and her job.

Including her mother, she is survived by her husband of 28 years, Horace R. Estes; two children, Horace Randell Estes II of Salvisa and Virginia Ann Estes of Lawrenceburg; four brothers, Gary, Rex, Leon, and Dwayne Riley, all of Lawrenceburg.

Funeral services will be 2 PM Saturday, June 21st at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home with Bro. Jim Sayre and Bro. George Dye officiating. Visitation will be 11 – 2 Saturday. Cremation will follow the services.
