Velda Wanda Rucker Rogers, 77, passed away Saturday, September 12, 2020 in Lawrenceburg.  Wanda was the wife of the late Connie Bruce Rogers, and was born December 19, 1942 in Charleston, West Virginia to the late Avis and Rosie Frances Johnson Rucker.

Including her husband and parents, Wanda was preceded in death by a brother, Darrell Rucker.

Wanda was a retired tour guide with the Kentucky Military Museum in Frankfort, and of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, who brought her so much joy.

Wanda is survived by a daughter, Cathy Conley and her husband Tim of Lawrenceburg; three sons, Keith Matheny and his wife Teresa of Ohio, Michael Matheny of Lawrenceburg and Jimmy Matheny and his wife Cheryl Mares of Ohio;  three grandchildren, Austin Matheny, Kelsey Conley and Hunter Matheny; and a sister, Marie Huddleston and her husband Doug of West Virginia.

Graveside service will be 1:00 P.M., Saturday, September 19, 2020 at the Lawrenceburg Cemetery, with Bro. Jonathan Gleason officiating.
