Tommy Warford Live Service Broadcast

Tommy Warford, 76, husband of Betty Maddox Drury, passed away, Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at the VA Medical Center in Lexington.  Born March 9, 1944 in Frankfort, KY, Tommy was the son of the late Ernest Stewart Warford and Ada Hellard Warford.

Tommy was preceded in death by his first wife, Diane Sea Warford and a grandson, Josh Drury.

A 1963 graduate of Western High School in Anderson County, Tommy was a retired employee of YKK and a farmer.  He served his country as a Military Police Officer in the US Army.  He was a member and elder of the Shiloh Christian Church, and a former member of Fairview Christian Church, where he also served as an Elder.  Tommy loved his family and was an avid fisherman, but his greatest passion in life, while in this world, was serving His Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Including Betty, his wife, Tommy is survived by his loving sister, Roxie Baumstark (Sammy) of Lawrenceburg;  three children, Jackie Drury (the late Wanda Drury) of Lawrenceburg, Judy Drury (Steve) of Lexington, and Rhonda Jones (Brian) of Lawrenceburg;  six grandchildren, Brian Drury of Indianapolis, IN, Stacy Duke (David) of Versailles, Joe Drury of Willisburg, Jesse Drury (Tabitha) of Lexington, Logan Jones and Kaitlyn Jones, both of Lawrenceburg;  two great grandchildren, Evelyn Rose Drury and Jamall Blackburn;  an aunt, Ann Webb of Frankfort; an uncle, George Hellard of Frankfort;  and numerous cousins.

Funeral service for Tommy will be 1:00 P.M., Thursday, February 25, 2021 at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home with Bro. Scott Osborn and Brian Drury officiating.  Burial with military honors will follow in the Fairview Church Cemetery with Steve Drury officiating.  Visitation will be 4 – 8 PM Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at the funeral home.

Serving as pallbearers will be Brian Drury, Logan Jones, Kyle Drury, Buddy Rodgers, George Hellard, Jr. and Mike Stinnett.

Honorary bearers will be Larry Maddox, Billy Ivers, Norris Burkhead, Huston Burkhead, Floyd Aldridge, Bruce Cunningham, Doug Voorhies, Billy Fint, Wayne Darnell, the Men of Shiloh Christian Church and the late Earl Williams and Ralph Warford.
