Obituary

Marvin Thomas "Tommy" Robinson, Sr., 75, husband of 31 years to Ida Ritchie Robinson, passed away Saturday, May 16, 2020 at Baptist Health-Lexington.  Born November 30, 1944 in Anderson County, KY, Tommy was the son of the late Elwood Luther Robinson and Nancy Alice Blackburn Robinson.

Including his parents, Tommy was preceded in death by three sons, Marvin Thomas "Tee Tom" Robinson, Jr., Anthony Wayne Robinson, an infant unnamed son; and a sister Minnie Case.

Tommy worked as an Independent Truck Driver and went by his handle Radar in the CB Club.  Former owner of the Pawn Shop in Frankfort, Tommy also enjoyed camping and fishing.

Along with his wife Ida, Tommy is survived by a son, James Elwood "Jimmy" Robinson (wife Kimberly Ann) of Simpson County, KY; two daughters, Constance Lamb and Kim Mayewski (husband Glenn Jr.) of Lawrenceburg; 7 grandchildren, Piper Robinson, Hannah Robinson, Becca Robinson, Krysteena Robinson, Kelee Peters, Jesse Lamb, Cayden Mayewski; 8 great grandchildren; two sisters, Addie (Jack) Carter, Tammy Robinson; and two brothers, Johnny Robinson, Don (Jeanette) Robinson, all of Lawrenceburg.

Visitation will be 5 – 8 pm, Thursday, May 21 st and service will be held on Friday beginning at 1:00 pm at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home.  Pastor Frank Hayes will officiate the service.  Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery.

To abide by the regulations set forth by the State of Kentucky, 33% occupancy of the funeral home will be in practice and everyone who attends is asked to wear face coverings and practice social distancing.  Thank you in advance for your cooperation.

Serving as pallbearers will be Jimmy Robinson, Glenn Mayewski, Chance Wayne, Don Robinson, Gary Morrow, and James Herman Ritchie.
