Funeral Service Broadcast for Tommy Bickers

Howard Thomas "Tommy" Bickers, 66, loving husband of Sharon Drury Bickers, entered his heavenly home on Saturday, March 30, 2024 after a long battle with dementia.

Tommy was born on October 9, 1957 in Frankfort, Kentucky to the late Willis (Judy) Bickers and Lorene (Thornton) Ware.

To know Tommy was to love him; he was always spreading laughter and smiles wherever he went and never met a stranger.  He loved people and would lend a helping hand to anyone in need.  Tommy was a jack of all trades and enjoyed fishing, tinkering with old cars, and above all spending time with his family.  He loved his role as Granddaddy and enjoyed playing with and spoiling his two granddaughters and special grand dog, Annabelle.  Tommy also attended Ninevah Christian Church.

Tommy is survived by Sharon, his loving wife of 39 years, and his children, William Chad (Julie) Case and Kathy Bickers of Lawrenceburg and his two granddaughters, Nora Beth and Emma Jayne Case.  He is also survived by eight brothers and sisters: Faye Ware, Eric (Veronica) Bickers, Julie Crane, Rhonda Snipes, Karen Doss, Connie (Bud) Snipes, all of Lawrenceburg, Robert Bickers of Owenton and Steve Doss of Richmond, as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, April 3rd at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home with Terry Cooper officiating.  Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 5 – 8 PM Tuesday and 9 - 11 AM Wednesday.

Serving as casket bearers will be Bradley Fain, Lee Snipes, Michael Drury, Richard Peach, Jeffrey Drury, and Alex Crane.

Honorary bearers will be Chad Case, Gary Drury, Joe Durr, Steve Case, and Bud Snipes.

Memorial contributions are suggested to Anderson Humane Society to honor Tommy's love for his four legged companions.
