Thomas Neal Cox was born May 26, 1935, died August 20, 2022.

Shirley Ann Bailey Cox was born September 29, 1935, died March 18, 2022.

Tom was killed in a plane crash in Witchita Falls, Texas on August 20, 2022. He was born in McHenry Kentucky to the late Troy and Sybil Langford Cox.

Tom was a retired pilot working for both the Pabst Brewing Company and M&I Bank flight departments.  He had previously worked for Youngtown Sheet and Tube Company and Bethlehem Steel Company.  His passion was flying and attending the EAA in Oshkosh, Wisconsin as often as possible.

Shirley retired from Medical Engineering where she was a Quality Control Inspector.  She loved quilting and playing Bunko.  Her happy place was Lake Quachita, Arkansas where her and Tom camped, boated and hosted family and friends yearly.

They are survived by their daughter, Becky Cox Stoppenbach (Mike) of Waunakee, Wisconsin and their son, Alan Thomas Cox (Donna) of Camp Verde, Arizona.  They have five grandchildren, Nicole Weyrauch (Mike Lyon) of Cedarburg, Wisconsin, Melissa Stoppenbach Schafer (Nate) of Madison, Wisconsin, Staff Sergeant Matthew Stoppenbach stationed at Fort Sam Houston in Texas, Thomas (T2) Cox (Kasie) of Franksville, Wisconsin, and Christopher Cox (Dana) of Mt. Pleasant, Wisconsin.  They have six great grandchildren, Chandra Weyrauch (Freddie Cruz), Chantel Weyrauch, Colton Weyrauch, Nolan Schafer, Ren Schafer, and Claire Cox.  They also have two great-great grandchildren, Aldo and Julietta Cruz.

Tom has one surviving brother, Mike Cox (Colleen) of Beverdam, Kentucky, he is preceded in death by a brother, Robert Lake Cox and his wife Jeralee, and a brother, Glen Russell Cox.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, Aubrey Bailey and Julia Godby Bailey and her sister, Linda (Disney) (Ferrell) Bailey.  She has two brothers, Bill Bailey of Flordia and Jack Bailey of Ohio and a sister, Betty Bailey Shieler of West Virginia.

They were loved and cherished by their family and friends and will be missed every day.

They were laid to rest at the Lawrenceburg Cemetery on September 9, 2022.
