Tom Carter Funeral Service Broadcast

Thomas Dee "Tom" Carter, 57, passed away January 29, 2023 at his home.  Born in Waupaca, WI on October 8, 1965, Tom is the son of Sandra Lien Carter of Lawrenceburg and the late John D. Carter.

An employee of Francis Recycling in Lawrenceburg, Tom enjoyed demolition derbies, woodworking, and assisting his brother-in-law Nick while working on cars.  He loved the outdoors, front porch sitting, and hanging out in the garage.  Besides his family, one of his greatest loves was for his Saint Bernard mix dog, Ace.

Including Sandra, his mother, he is survived by his sisters, Pam Carter (husband Carl) Hanson of Blue Springs, MO, Donna Brock of Lawrenceburg, and Robin (Nick) Moore of Lawrenceburg; his nieces and nephews, Kristy Mattingly, Erin (Sonny) Turner, Charla Brock, Allison Brock, Michael Luis, and Morgan Luis; 5 great nieces and nephews; and several special cousins.

Visitation will be on Thursday, February 2, 2023 from 11 AM – 1 PM followed by the service beginning at 1:00 PM at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home.  Bro. Will Cooper will officiate the service.  A procession will follow services to the Lawrenceburg Cemetery pavilion.  Cremation will follow the services.

Serving as pallbearers will be Brad Tussey, Bradley Tussey, Brandon Tussey, Brayden Tussey, Sonny Turner, Steve Carter, and Chris Carter.
