Timothy Lynn "Tim" Schell, 56, husband of Janet Lynn Montgomery Schell, passed away January 23, 2023 at his home.  Born in Lexington, KY on May 18, 1966, Tim was the son of Otis Schell and Mae Parman Schell.

Including his parents, Tim was preceded in death by a daughter, Tina Marie Schell, and his siblings, Ruby Rice, Eugene Schell, Delmas Schell, Earl Schell, and Lester Schell.

A 1986 graduate of Anderson County High School, Tim currently worked as an employee of Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort and previously worked at Pilkington in Versailles for 35 years.  A member of Sand Spring Baptist Church, he also enjoyed U.K. ballgames, stock trading, going for drives and trying new restaurants with his wife, and playing fetch with his dogs.  He always checked the oil and tire pressure in his children's cars and loved being with his grandchildren, taking them to truck pulls, rodeos, and just spending time with them.

Along with Janet, his wife of 34 years, he is survived by his children, Sarah Lynn Schell (AJ) Snipes, Megan Elizabeth Schell (Aaron Kinne), Aaron Thomas (Tate) Schell, and Gerren Campbell; four grandchildren, Ben Snipes, KP Snipes, Lincoln Snipes, and Ellison Kinne; his father-in-law, Kenneth Montgomery; sisters-in-law,  Bonnie Schell and Nellie Schell; and brother-in-law, Laughlin Rice.

Visitation will be held from 11 AM – 1 PM Monday, January 30, 2023 followed by the service beginning at 1:00 PM at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home.  Dr. Mike Hamrick and Bro. Jerry Montgomery will officiate the service.  Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery.
