Timothy "Tim" Madison Peets, 60, husband of Tina "Tootie" Hicks Peets, passed away on July 25, 2026, at his residence in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky. Born on May 31, 1966, in Jackson, Mississippi, he was the son of the late Dewey Peets and Sara Johnson Peets.

Tim held many roles throughout his life, including truck driver, logger, employee of the City of D'Lo, Mississippi, and owner of his own tire service company. He was a member of a church in Mississippi before moving to Kentucky last year to marry the woman he lovingly called his beautiful wife. Tim embraced life with joy, loved dirt track racing and go-karts, and never missed an opportunity to make others laugh with his playful sense of humor. He loved deeply, especially his family, both old and new. Though their time together was brief, his wife will forever be grateful for the love he showed her each day. Tim will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Along with his parents, Tim was preceded in death by a son, Cole Hoover, and his late wife, Darlene Peets.

In addition to his wife, Tina "Tootie" Hicks Peets of Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, Tim is survived by six children, three stepchildren, one brother, several grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and his beloved dogs, Boss Lady and Sugar Zoey.

Cremation was chosen, and no services are planned.
