Thomas Donald Edgett, age 83, husband of 62 years to Fern L. Sommers Edgett, passed away Tuesday, February 15, 2022.  Thomas was born June 18, 1938 in St. Paul, Minnesota to the late Robert Edgett and Florence Schanz Edgett.

Thomas served his country as a Sergeant in the Army National Guard.  He was a retired Supervisor with Whirlpool in Danville, KY, a Kentucky Colonel, and a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church.  He was an avid Minnesota Vikings fan, enjoyed fishing and golf.  Thomas was very artistic, he enjoyed building and constructing things, and built several of the homes he and Fern lived in.

Including his wife Fern, Thomas is survived by a daughter, Vicki Edgett of Moreland, KY;  two sons, Tom Edgett of Greendale, IN and Jeff Edgett and his wife Kim of Lexington, KY;  three granddaughters, Mckenzie, Kamryn and Kassidy Edgett.

Including his parents, Thomas was preceded in death by four brothers, Bob, Jerry, Dan and Jim Edgett.

Funeral Mass will be 5:00 P.M., Friday, February 18, 2022 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church with Father Jeff Estacio officiating.

A reception for family and friends will be held at 6:00 P.M., Friday in the Family Life Center at the church.
