Theresa Ferraro Dorten, 87, of Lexington, wife of Enoch Frank Dorten, passed away December 16, 2023 at Baptist Health Lexington.  Born in Youngstown, OH on November 24, 1936, Theresa was the daughter of Frank Ferraro and Theresa Muchway Rakarich.

Including her husband, she is survived by her children, Michael A. Patros and his wife Maureen of Orlando, FL, and Karen Patros of Lexington; two grandchildren, Blake (Landon) Shepherd and Nick (Mandy) Patros; three great grandchildren, Remi, Rhett, and Abram; and a sister, Shirley (Ed) Moody.  Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, James Ferraro, Janie Thorpe and Marie Monahan.

She was known by many names…Theresa, Tee, Mom, Aunt Tee, Gram, friend and Rummikub Champion! …but all those names added up to one…Love!  She was a fierce protector of her family…she was the Center of the family and our Rock in time of need…she kept us all in line…her brilliant mind was a sight to behold…we could ask her anything and she would remember…she kept track of birthdays, special dates.  She guided us all through good and bad times and she did this all with grace, beauty, a wonderful sense of humor, compassion and kindness.  She leaves behind a family and friends that are better for having had her in their lives…and her legacy and the life lessons we all learned from her will continue on!

She will be greatly missed and fondly remembered!
