Terry Jordan "T.J." Wilson, 79, passed from this life to eternal life on Monday, December 23, 2019, peacefully at his home surrounded by his family.  Terry went to be with the Lord after a long battle with cancer.

Terry leaves behind his wife of 54 years, Joyce Tolliver Wilson, their children, Bryon (Rhonda) Wilson of  Pensacola, FL, John (Jennifer) Wilson and Christy (Matthew) Williams all of Lexington, KY,  as well as four grandchildren, Amber Marshall, Finley Williams, Keenan & Trevor Wilson;  and three great grandchildren, Eva Marshall, Jordon Johnson and Bryon Wilson, Jr.

Terry was preceded in death by his sister, Donnie Lloyd Wilson, and a grandson, Bryon J. Wilson, Sr.

Terry was born in Cleveland, OH, on the 14th of October, 1940, to the late Merle and Viola Jordan Wilson.  He spent many happy years growing up in Paris, KY, and Cincinnati, OH, and graduated from Lakewood High School in Cleveland, OH.  Terry married the love of his life, Joyce, on the 17th of October, 1965, in Paris, KY.  He was blessed with a diversified career path, enjoying positions at IBM, Prison Industries, General Cable, and as part owner of Kentucky Manufacturing.  However, his real joy was the years he spent starting and building Wilson Distributing, where he pursued this passion for nearly two decades.

Terry was outgoing and always on the move.  He loved interacting with people, and never met a stranger.  He was a true history buff and an avid model train enthusiast, spending many hours building and rebuilding his layouts.

Terry was a loving and dedicated husband and father, and was a devout Christian.  His love of the Lord was central to his life and he received and enjoyed the peace and love of Christ.  He was a member of First Christian Church for over 40 years, and has been an active member of the Ninevah Christian Church family for the last several years.

Visitation will be 3 – 6 pm Sunday, Dec. 29th, at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home and on Monday, Dec. 30th from 11 am until time of service at 1 pm at Ninevah Christian Church.

A Celebration of Terry's Life will be held Monday, December 30 ^th beginning at 1:00 pm at Ninevah Christian Church, 1195 Ninevah Rd., Lawrenceburg, KY.  All are welcome and dress is casual. Cremation will follow the services.
