Sylvia Jean Carter Hawkins, age 65, passed away Saturday, July 30, 2022 in Lexington.  Sylvia was born August 2, 1956 in Frankfort, KY to the late James Robert Carter and Shirley Jean Durr Carter.

Sylvia was a retired employee with Monta Plast in Frankfort,  and was of the Baptist faith.  She was a hard worker, and was known to have a very generous heart.  She loved her cats, making jewelry and most of all her family.

Sylvia is survived by her two daughters, Ashley Moore and her husband Anthony and Jamie Hobbs and her husband Chris, all of Lawrenceburg;  four grandchildren, Logan Hobbs and his wife Morgan, Caitlin Hobbs, Raven Watkins and Elijah Moore;  a great grandchild, Owen Hobbs; one sister;  and a special cousin, Kathy Kramer of New York.

Including her parents, Sylvia was preceded in death by a sister.

No services are scheduled.  Cremation was chosen.
