Obituary

Wanda Sue Masters, 68, wife of the late James R. Hatfield, passed away Thursday, January 30, 2020 at UK Bluegrass Hospice Care Center in Lexington, KY.  Born September 25, 1951 in Frankfort, Sue was the daughter of the late George and Ester King Masters.

Along with her husband and parents, Sue was preceded in death by her sisters, Wilma Willard, Jean Woolums, and Geneva Riley.

Sue and her sister owned and operated G&S Cleaning Service primarily working in Frankfort, Lexington and Lawrenceburg.  She enjoyed reading, puzzles, crossword puzzles, watching TV and movies, and was an animal lover.

Sue is survived by her children, James Hatfield (wife Teresa) and Beverly Hatfield, both of Lawrenceburg; three grandchildren, Eric and Dakota Carey, and Rylee Jaco; a brother-in-law Freddie Woolums; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Service will be held Monday, Feb. 3 rd beginning at 1:00 PM at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home.  Dr. Jeff Eaton will officiate the service.  Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery.  Visitation will be held prior to the service on Monday from 11 AM – 1 PM.

Memorial contributions in memory of Sue are suggested to Bluegrass Hospice Care, 643 Teton Trail, Frankfort, KY  40601.
