Stephen Ray Waldridge, 36, passed away July 28, 2021 at his home in Frankfort.  Born February 25, 1985 in Frankfort, KY, he is the son of Wendell N. Waldridge of Lawrenceburg and Stephanie Harlow Waldridge of Frankfort.

He formerly worked several jobs including painting with his brother and as a janitor at the Boone National Guard Center in Frankfort.  His greatest joy was spending time with his kids and also enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, and playing sports.

Along with his parents, Stephen is survived by his longtime girlfriend and mother of his children, Melissa Keener of Frankfort; his children, Ray Lynn Waldridge, Liberty Rain Waldridge, and his unborn son Liam Wendell Waldridge; his maternal grandmother, Janice Presley of Lawrenceburg; a brother, Jacob Waldridge (wife Paige) of Harrodsburg; and two sisters, Wende Harley (husband Travis) of Lawrenceburg and Samantha Carol Moore of Frankfort; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.  He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Norman and Dollie Waldridge.

A time of visitation will be held from 4 – 6 PM Wednesday followed by the service beginning at 6:00 PM Wednesday at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home.  Ron Moore will officiate the service.  Cremation will follow the services.

Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Michael Cinnamon, Paul William Harlow, Benjamin Thomas Cox, and Christopher Suddeth.
