Stefanie Elizabeth Bak, 58, passed away Friday, March 19, 2021 at the Frankfort Regional Medical Center.  Stefanie was born March 23, 1962 in Louisville, KY to the late Anthony Martin Bak and Barbara Irene Hall Bak.

Stefanie was a retired hairdresser, and had attended Goshen Baptist Church.  She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and stuffed monkeys, which she had a large collection of.  Stefanie was a woman of impeccable strength, and had a passion for helping others.  She worked at the women's homeless shelter in Frankfort and loved her family very much.

She is survived by her son, Anthony Wayne Bak and his fiancée Beverley of Lawrenceburg;  a sister, Dwyan Darst and her husband David of England;  four adult grandchildren and three adolescent  grandchildren, Brendon Gallenstein, Mackenzie Bak and Tristen Clay; a great grandson Jackson Boyd; and special friends, Bob & Joan Staples of Taylorsville.

Including her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Toni Jo Coffman.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.
