Stanley Keith Morris, 60, of Salvisa, husband of 33 years of Anne Lewis Jenkins Morris, passed away Saturday, Nov. 14, 2015 at Frankfort Regional Medical Center. Born August 24, 1955, Keith was the son of the late Stanley Bennett and Betty Parris Springate Morris.
Keith retired from the Commonwealth of Kentucky Medicaid Services Department. A 1973 graduate of Mercer County High School, Keith enjoyed fishing, hunting, and sports, especially University of Louisville basketball. He loved dove hunting and traveling to Kansas for quail hunts. His greatest passion was spending time with his grandson Daniel Scott Whalen.
Along with his wife, Keith is survived by two children, Anne Marie Holt Whalen (Mike Burgess) and Gordon Bradley (Kristi) Holt, both of Lawrenceburg; four grandchildren, Daniel Scott Whalen, Cameron Sheets, Landen Willard, and Easton Holt; two brothers, Craig (Kay) Morris of Harrodsburg and Dudley (Bobbe) Morris of Salvisa; his nieces and nephews; and a sister-in-law, Mary Ruth Ellis of Alexandria, KY.
A Celebration of Keith's Life will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2015 at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home. A time of visitation with Keith's family will follow the services on Tuesday until 7:00 PM.
