LAWRENCEBURG – Shirley Ann Young Ennis, 65, passed away Saturday, May 09, 2015 at the Medical Center, Scottsville, KY. She is the widow of Willard Ernest Ennis. She was born July 1, 1949 in Louisville, KY, the daughter of the late Hayward and Dorothy M. Richardson Young.

Shirley is survived by six children, Sherri (Chris) Morgan of Lawrenceburg, Kathy (Larry) Pardue of Scottsville, Daniel C. Ennis and Joel (Michelle) Ennis of Lawrenceburg, Toby (Susan) Ennis and Jerry Ennis of Harrodsburg; 11 grandchildren; one great grandchild; a sister, Darlene Shercliff of Louisville; four brothers, Gary, Tony, and David Young of Louisville, and Ricky Young of Big Clifty.

Along with her husband and parents, Shirley was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Chandra Schmelzer Ennis, and a brother, Mike Young.

Memorial services will be 10:00 AM Friday, May 15, 2015 at the Ritchie and Peach Funeral Home, Lawrenceburg, KY with David Linius officiating. Burial of cremains will be in the Mayfield Cemetery, Glasgow, KY. Visitation will be 4 – 8 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
