Shirley Harley Mills, 77, formerly of Lawrenceburg and Frankfort, passed away February 20, 2023 at Taylor Manor in Versailles, KY.  Daughter of Charles Harley and Margaret McDonald Harley, she was born in Frankfort, KY on June 4, 1945.

A graduate of Franklin County High School, Shirley worked for Medicaid Services for Kentucky State Government.  A member of Forks of Elkhorn Baptist Church, Shirley enjoyed gardening, decorating her home, shopping, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Along with her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her two daughters, Lisa Surritt and Tammy Burleson.  She leaves behind to cherish her memory, grandchildren, Jordan Burleson and Jaden Burleson of Mercer County, and Lacey Burleson of Lawrenceburg.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 24, 2023 from 11 AM – 12:30 PM followed by the funeral service beginning at 12:30 PM Friday at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home.  Bro. Todd Lester will officiate the service.  Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Serving as pallbearers will be Scotty Boughter, Casen Abbott, Joe Fisher, John David Stucker, Andrew Faris, and Lyndon Stucker.  Martin Harley will serve as an honorary bearer.
