Sherry Lynn Vaughn Fulton, age 74, passed away Thursday, August 6, 2026 at her home in Frankfort, KY. Sherry was born January 8, 1952 in Louisville, KY to the late Billy Ray Vaughn and Barbara Bevill Vaughn.

Sherry was a graduate of Indiana State University with a Bachelor of Accounting. After receiving this degree, she worked for Kentucky State Government in the Department of Accounting as an accountant, where she eventually retired. She was a devout Christian. Reading was a major passion in her life, both reading herself and encouraging a love of reading in others. Her love of old time movies is something well known by those who loved her. Sherry was a very kind and loving woman who loved animals, whether her own cats or her daughter's dogs. Above everything else, Sherry loved her family. Being a Mother and Nana was her greatest passion.

Including her parents, Sherry was preceded in death by her sister, Tama Brown.

Sherry is survived by her daughter, Diana (Jason) Eads of Lawrenceburg, KY; two grandchildren, Reagan (Rayne) Eads and Jacob (Alex) Eads of Lawrenceburg, KY; two brothers, Mark (Jane) Vaughn of Henderson, KY and Billy (Jill) Vaughn of IN; a brother-in-law, Taylor Brown of Madisonville, KY; and several nieces and nephews.

The family has chosen cremation.
