Sandra Lee Sparks Disponett, 57, of Lawrenceburg, passed away suddenly Friday, May 15, 2015 at the Frankfort Regional Medical Center - E.R. She is the wife of 35 years of Tony Disponett. Born Sept. 22, 1957 in Woodford County, KY, Sandra is the daughter of Bill (Vickie) Sparks of Nicholasville and the late Rose Hood Burkhead.

Sandra worked as an associate at the Lawrenceburg Wal-Mart and attended the Church of God of Prophecy in Versailles. She enjoyed working in her flowers and caring for her pets.

Along with her husband and father, Sandra is survived by her two sons, Jamey Disponett (Ashley) and Chris Disponett (Maeghan), of Lawrenceburg; 6 grandchildren, Grace, Ryann, and Ryker Disponett, Kalista Newton, Jared and Hunter Disponett; two sisters, Anneice Haney of Lexington and Billie Rose Sparks of Lawrenceburg; and a half sister, Linda Ashton of Nicholasville.

Including her mother, she was preceded in death by a half brother, Sterling Burkhead, Jr.

Funeral services will be 11 am, Monday, May 18, 2015 at the Ritchie and Peach Funeral Home with Terry Cooper officiating. Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 – 7 PM Sunday.
