Sandra "Kay" Dennis Grubbs, 61, passed away Saturday, May 6, 2017 at her home surrounded by her family. Born December 12, 1955 in Jefferson County, KY, Kay is the daughter of Betty Coulter Ashburn of Louisville and the late Paul C. Dennis. Kay was raised by her aunt Priscilla "Toots" Dennis.

Kay was a 1972 graduate of Western Anderson High School and an employee of Glo-Marr Products, Inc in Lawrenceburg. She was a member of the Friendship Baptist Church and attended Goshen Baptist Church. She enjoyed her family, riding horses and working in her flowers.

Kay is also survived by her two sons, Michael "Tommy" Grubbs, Jr. and Jason (Mossie) Grubbs, both of Lawrenceburg; three grandchildren, Brooke, Dustin, and Tyler Grubbs; her siblings, Paul (Donna) Dennis of Mt. Washington, Vicki Dennis Eberle of Louisville, and Dottie E. (Allen) Downs of Boston, KY.

A time of visitation with Kay's family will be held from 4 – 6 PM Thursday, May 11 ^th at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home. No service will be held. Kay chose cremation.
