Sadie Belle Ruble Tunks, 91, last residing in Gallatin, TN, wife of the late Lawrence A. Tunks, passed away September 22 at her home in Gallatin, TN. She was born March 16, 1925 in Lawrenceburg, KY to Jacob Elmer and Melvie Ruble. Along with her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Lula Reckelhoff and two brothers, J. E. Ruble and Ray Ruble. Sadie was a member of First Baptist Hendersonville where she loved to serve the Lord with the Heart Sister's Sunday School class.

Sadie is survived by two daughters, Connie Presley Duncan of Gallatin, TN and Yvonne (Darryl) Wilson of Louisville, KY, four grandchildren, Wendi (Danny) Womack of Lexington, KY, Nora (Jason) Hale of Gallatin, TN, Jonathan Wilson, Norfolk, VA and Jordan (Savannah) Wilson of Bowling Green, KY. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren Zachary Alexander Womack, Zoe Danielle, Capri Anna-Belle Love Hale and Avery Belle Wilson (namesakes of their beloved great-grandmother)

Services will be held at Ritchie and Peach Funeral Home, 701 N. Main St., Lawrenceburg, KY on Wednesday, September 28 at 12:30 pm. The service will be conducted by her son-in-law Dr. Darryl H. Wilson. Interment will be at the Bluegrass Memorial Gardens in Nicholasville, KY. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 10 am – 12:30 pm.
