Ruby Imogene Roberts Antrobus, 85, of Lawrenceburg formerly of Woodford County, widow of Alvie Lee Antrobus, passed away Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at the Hospice Care Center in Lexington. Born September 5, 1930 in Stanton, KY, she was the daughter of the late James Madison Roberts and Myrtle Rebecca Marcum Roberts.

Mrs. Antrobus was a member of the Clear C reek Baptist Church in Versailles and the Woodford County Homemakers. She and her husband were known for their wonderful gardens and participated in the Versailles Farmer's Market. A recipient of the Gardner of the Year award in Woodford County, Mrs. Antrobus also enjoyed quilting and formerly operated a ceramics shop. After moving to Lawrenceburg, she attended the Anderson County Senior Citizens.

Survivors include her two daughters, Charlotte (Dr. Howard) Beauman of Frankfort, and Becky (Don Clark) Lane of Lawrenceburg; three grandchildren, Bryan (Candy) Beauman, Brent (Sarah) Beauman, and Ashlee (Loren) Wells; six great grandchildren; and five siblings. Along with her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Carla Sue Antrobus and seven siblings.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Saturday, May 7th at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home, Lawrenceburg with her son-in-law, Dr. Howard Beauman officiating. Visitation will be 10 am – 1 pm Saturday.

Graveside services will be 2:30 PM Monday, May 9th at the Camp Nelson National Cemetery in Jessamine County.

Family members will serve as pallbearers.
