LAWRENCEBURG – Ruby Jean Peach Warford, 80, passed away Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at Morning Pointe in Frankfort. She was the widow of Brice Warford and daughter of the late John B. and Alma Mae Brown Peach.

Mrs. Warford was a graduate of Western High School and a retired clerk for the Kentucky Dept. of Unemployment. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Homemakers Sunday School Class.

Mrs. Warford is survived by a son, Kevin Wayne Warford and his wife Danette; a granddaughter, Brittany Nicole Warford; and two sisters Pauline Overstreet and Onita Buckley, all of Lawrenceburg. She was preceded in death by 5 sisters, Ella Mae Baxter, Arabell Neal, Clara Shely, Rebecca Gritton, and Blanche Sparrow; and 3 brothers, Thomas F. Peach, Coleman Peach, and Johnie S. Peach.

Funeral services will be 11 am Friday, April 18th at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home with Dr. Robert F. Ehr officiating. Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 – 8 pm Thursday.

Pallbearers will be Corey Cooley, Ronnie Peach, Larry and Ritchie Simpson, Bobby Joe Gritton, and Scotty Buckley.
