Rosiland Francis Marshall Baker, 76, wife of the late James Bulan Baker, passed away at her home in Lawrenceburg, KY on Friday, August 8, 2025. Rosiland was born on October 1, 1948 to the late John Marshall and Julia Shannon Marshall.

Rosiland was of the Baptist faith. She loved thrifting and riding motorcycles with the Taskforce Omega Chapter of the POWMIA. She spent most of her life working for the state government in the Department of Transportation but took a break when her children were little to work as the nurses' aid at her children's school. Rosiland was most proud of raising her kids, grandchildren, her kid's friends, and her grandchildren's friends. She loved everybody, if you were a child in her vicinity, then she helped raise you as her own. Practically everyone she knew called her either Mom or Nanny.

Including her husband James, Rosiland was preceded in death by her son, David Baker.

She is survived by her three children, Olson McMurry, James McMurry (Julie McGuire), and Shannon Baker; seven grandchildren, Brayden McMurry, John McMurry, Destiny Perkins (Dylan), Tara Coleman, Vincent Wilson (Cayla), Davian Baker, and Alexiss Kelly; and seven great grandchildren, Daxton, Jackson, Destin, Theo, Blayke, Josie, and Rowdy.

The family has chosen cremation.
