Rosa Lee Disponette Hutton, of Lawrenceburg, Ky, entered into eternal rest on February 6, 2024.

Mrs. Hutton was born April 18, 1928 to Richard and Mary Disponette in Versailles, Kentucky. She lived in Woodford County as a youth attending grade school and high school in Woodford County.  Her first job was working for Old Crowe Distillery in Frankfort, Ky. She then worked for Union Underwear as a seamstress. After her beginning careers, she then chose her main occupation as a cafeteria manager and worked 27 years for the Anderson County Board of Education in the School system (five years at the Anderson High School) and (22 years at Emma B. Ward as the Cafeteria Manager).  She was known for never letting a child go un-nourished and cared deeply for every child that went through the cafeteria line.

She was a highly respected Cafeteria Manager and loved cooking as a passion. She was a long-time member and of First Baptist Church and the New Hope Sunday School Class.

Mrs. Hutton is preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Garvis Owen Hutton of Lawrenceburg, KY.  Rosa is survived by daughters, Marilyn Hutton Grugin (Jack Grugin) Lawrenceburg, KY; Lea Hutton Beasmore (Kevin Beasmore) of Lawrenceburg, KY;  3 grandchildren, Trinity Grugin Mixon, (Todd Mixon) Panama City Beach, FL;  Nicholas Kevin Beasmore (Lindsay Beasmore) of Nicholasville, KY and Christopher Cole Beasmore, Lawrenceburg, KY;  3 great grandchildren, Madison Brooke Rowland and Zackery Banks Grugin, both of Panama City Beach, FL and Madeline Renee Beasmore of Nicholasville, KY and other relatives and friends.

Other than her parents, Richard and Mary Disponette, she was preceded in death by her 3 sisters, Betty Disponette Stratton (husband Marvin), Edna Disponette Davenport (husband Delbert), Jo Ann Disponette and her brother Delbert Disponette, granddaughter, Stacia Lynette Grugin, and grandson, James C. Grugin III.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Friday, February 9, 2024 at First Baptist Church with Dr. Robert F. Ehr and Paul Barrick officiating.  Interment will follow at Lawrenceburg Cemetery. Visitation from 11 AM until time of service at 1:00 PM Friday at First Baptist Church.
