Rosa Dell Holt, 81, of Lexington, formerly of Lawrenceburg, passed away Monday, February 8, 2016 at the Frankfort Regional Medical Center. Born July 3, 1934 in Anderson County, Rosa was the daughter of the late Joe and Marie Adams Holt.

Rosa was a 1954 graduate of Anderson High School and a former employee of Rosemont Drug Store, Lexmark, and MetLife Insurance Company in Lexington. She deeply enjoyed her church, Hillcrest Baptist Church in Lexington, where she sang in the choir and taught Sunday school. Her other enjoyments included reading and crocheting.

Rosa is survived by a sister, JoAnn Sparks and her husband Connie of Lawrenceburg; a half sister, Martha Johnson of Worthville, KY; two nieces, two nephews, one great niece, one great-great niece and one great-great nephew.

Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Thursday, Feb. 11th at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home, Lawrenceburg. Dr. Tony A. Hancock of Hillcrest Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will follow in the Sand Spring Cemetery in Anderson County. Visitation will be 11 am – 1 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
