Ronald Wayne Hodges, 70, died Thursday, August 23, 2018 at the UK Health Care in Lexington. Born March 15, 1948 in Ronceverte, WV, Ronald was the son of the late Julian Arthur Hodges and Carrie Ernestine Shelton Hodges.

Ronald was a former corrections officer with the Federal Bureau of Prisons in Lexington. He served as a Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War, and was a Kentucky Colonel.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Donna Webster Hodges; two daughters, Angela Horn of Lawrenceburg and Stephanie Hodges of Frankfort; four grandchildren, Emily Zimmerman, Nathaniel Zimmerman, Olivia Zimmerman and Asa Drury; two great grandchildren, Scarlett Hatter and C.J. Hatter; a sister, Shirley Milliken of East Palestine, OH; two brothers, Larry Hodges of East Palestine, OH and Jerry Warner of Campbells Creek, WV.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Arthur Hodges, Jr. and a sister, Donna Sue Clark.

Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M., Monday, August 27, 2018 at the Ritchie and Peach Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Wheeler officiating. Burial will follow with military honors at the Lawrenceburg Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 - 8 P.M., Sunday at the funeral home.
