Ronald Lee Dearinger, 64, of Lawrenceburg passed away suddenly Monday, May 12, 2014 at Bluegrass Community Hospital in Versailles. He was born January 24, 1950 in Frankfort to the late Etta Frances Smith and Orville "June" Dearinger, Jr.

Mr. Dearinger was an employee of YH-America in Versailles, served in the U.S. Navy, and attended the First Pentecostal Church of Frankfort. He enjoyed watching UK basketball, fishing, and spending time with his grandson.

His survivors include a son Ronald Lee Dearinger, Jr., a grandson Ronald Lee "Trey" Dearinger III; two brothers, Orville "Trey" (Princess) Dearinger and Eddie Joe Dearinger, all of Lawrenceburg; a sister Virginia Kay (Mike) Strachan of Azle, TX; nieces and nephews, E.J., Faith, and Beau Derringer, Amy Dearinger Phiel, Barry Wayne and Little Joe Hornbeck.

Funeral services will be 7:00 PM Friday, May 16th at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home with military honors. Rev. Gene Roberts will officiate. Cremation will follow services. Visitation will be 4 – 7 PM Friday.

Memorial are suggested to the American Heart Association.
