Roland E. "Bud" Hubert, age 81, husband of 62 years to Marilyn Hubert, passed away Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at his residence in Anderson County. Bud was born August 4, 1941 in Leitchfield, Illinois to the late Roland Hubert, Sr. and Elsie Spearman Hubert.

Bud was a retired Plant Superintendent with General Cable in Lawrenceburg, and a U.S. Army veteran. He was a member of the Anderson County Sportsman's club, and enjoyed hunting and fishing. His family meant everything to him, and he enjoyed spending time with them, making special memories.

Including his wife Marilyn, Bud is survived by his children, Lance Hubert (Tina), Paige Thompson, Shannon Hubert (Lucinda) and Wendi Etherington (Matthew), all of Lawrenceburg; grandchildren, Blake Hubert (Alyssa), Sophia Winlock (Austin), Will Thompson, Weslee Thompson, Canon Etherington, Jason Logue and Jesse Logue; great grandchildren, Alayna, Jayce and Steele; his siblings, Ron Hubert (Nancy), Bob Hubert (Iris), and Melody Hubert, all of Mt. Olive, IL, Eric Hubert of Chicago, and Susan Oller of Edwardsville, IL.

A private memorial service for Bud will be held at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home.
