Rodney Dale Proctor, 49, passed away Friday, Dec. 26, 2014 at his home. Born July 21, 1965, he is the son of Martha Ann Shelton Proctor and Bronson Leon Proctor, both of Lawrenceburg.

Rodney was a 1983 graduate of Western High School, formerly worked as a butcher for Kroger and was a member of the Freedom Baptist Church. One of his main enjoyments was spending time with his family.

Along with his parents, Rodney is survived by five children, Amanda (James) Briscoe of Burlington, KY, Kendra (Joanna Medley) Proctor, Jeremy (Tamara) Proctor, and Erica Proctor, all of Lawrenceburg, and Maddison Mercer of Houstonville, KY; close friend, Tamara Cook; six grandchildren, Zadia Proctor, James Ayden and Adalynn Briscoe, Kadan, Kory, and Kinzi Medley; two brothers, Darryl (Alice) Proctor and Jason (Kristin) Proctor, all of Lawrenceburg.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Mark Wayne Proctor.

Funeral services will be 11:00 am Tuesday, Dec. 30th at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home with Bro. Chris Parrish officiating. Burial will follow in the Freedom Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 – 8 pm Monday.
