Rodger Clark Driskell, 76, husband of Betty Carol Drury Driskell, passed away May 17, 2023 at his home in Lawrenceburg. Born in Mercer County on March 19, 1947, Rodger was the son of the late Jasper Clark "Sparky" Driskell and Edna Mae Searcy Driskell.

A 1965 graduate of Western High School, Rodger retired as a technician for IBM and Lexmark and also was a farmer. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge.

Along with Betty, his wife of almost 56 years, he is survived by three children, Gary Clark Driskell and Donna Conway (Richard) of Lawrenceburg, and Jason Driskell (George Wright) of Springfield; four grandchildren, Kayla Marie Conway, Cassie Driskell Cox, Jonathan Driskell, and Kevin Beckstein; 10 great grandchildren; two sisters, Vena Bowen (Raymond) and Rosemary Sewell; and two brothers, Harry W. Driskell (Diane) and Stephen Driskell (Merry); brothers-in-law, Renny Cox and David Stierle.

He was preceded in death by a grandson, Travis Alan Conway; a granddaughter, Dezarae Marie Driskell; and his siblings, Roxie L. Loggins, Billie Stierle, Daren Driskell, Patsy Brown, and Nancy Cox.

A Celebration of Rodger's Life will be held on Saturday, June 10, 2023 from 4 – 7 PM followed by a service beginning at 7:00 PM at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home.
