It is with a heavy heart that we say goodbye to Robin Penny Jeffers Sutherland. Those of us who loved her will remember her wicked sense of humor and infectious laugh, her early sense of adventure that got her into more trouble than most of us could handle, her incredible artistic talent, her unbounded love of animals, and her sheer tenacity when she set her mind to something.

Robin was born to the late Kenneth and Georgia Jeffers in Hazard, KY on November 16, 1960.

Our thoughts now move to the support and comfort of her husband of 28 years, Scott Ogden Sutherland. Robin is also survived by her sister Elaine Jeffers (Dee Gramoy) of Hilton Head, SC and her brothers, Tony Jeffers of Lawrenceburg, KY and Jerry Jeffers (wife Beth) of Richmond, KY.

Robin lost her battle with cancer on Wednesday, July 30, 2025 at the age of 64.
