Robert Lewis Harley, Sr., 80, of Lawrenceburg, husband of Janice Barnes Harley, passed away Monday, June 19, 2017 at his home. Born November 29, 1936 in Anderson County, Robert was the son of the late William Taft Harley and Catherine Cornish Harley.

A former resident of Versailles, KY, Robert worked for Kuhlman Electric and Woodford Feed in Versailles. He was a graduate of Western High School in Anderson County, a member of the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church and currently attended the Lawrenceburg Community Baptist Church. Robert was a family oriented man who loved the outdoors.

Including his wife of 58 years, Robert is survived by his children, Bobby Harley, Gary (Beth) Harley, and Lisa (Tim) Sebastian, all of Lawrenceburg; 9 grandchildren, Jeremy Harley, Carey McDaniel, Nicole Harley, Jeffrey Harley, Michael Harley, Matthew Sebastian, Aaron Sebastian, Heather GoForth, and Logan Sebastian; 12 great grandchildren; his brother, Roy (Velena) Harley of Lawrenceburg; and his sister, Shirley (Jim) Akers of Frankfort.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM, Thursday, June 22 ^nd at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home with Bro. Steve Broughton officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 5 – 8 PM Wednesday.

Serving as pallbearers will be Jeremy, Jeffrey, and Michael Harley, Matthew and Aaron Sebastian, and Pete McDaniel. Honorary bearers will be Logan Sebastian, Nicole Harley, Carey McDaniel, and Heather GoForth.
