Robert Gene Cummins, 70, husband of Linda Purvis Cummins, passed away June 2, 2023 at his home in Anderson County.  Born in Woodford County, KY on Sept. 12, 1952, Robert was the son of the late George Gilbert Cummins and Peggy Foley Cummins.

A former construction worker and woodworker, he was a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church and volunteered helping maintain equipment for V.F.W. in Frankfort.

Including his wife Linda, he is survived by five children, Stephanie (Danny) Lawson of Lawrenceburg, Robert "Beanie" (fiancé Robin Campbell) Cummins, II of Lexington; Heath Allen (Jade Shouse) Cummins, Peggy Rose Cummins, and Jacob Ray (Brianna) Cummins, all of Lawrenceburg; 13 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren.  Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, George Gilbert Cummins, II, William "Billy" Cummins, and Claude Allen Cummins.

Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Friday, June 9, 2023 at Fellowship Baptist Church, 1819 Hammonds Creek Rd., Lawrenceburg, KY.  Bro. Philip Ritchey will officiate the service.  Burial will follow in the Corinth Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Thursday from 5 – 7 PM and after 10 AM Friday at Fellowship Baptist Church.
